Remember I once wrote that we are racist? It was when the Ethiopian Plane crashed on the Lebanese shore.
Anyway, again and with shame I say we are racist and inhumane. We MAKE our domestic workers work everyday of the week, for more than 16 hours.

The 24/7 Campaign was created in 2010 with the aim of raising awareness about the plight of migrant domestic workers in Lebanon and to advocate a weekly day of rest. Through the use of food, public discussions and music we not only challenged negative stereotypes but also offered a new form of social activism.
